Our brand was created so that fishermen around the world can pursue their passion in style and comfort while offering the highest protection and quality standards in fishing apparel.
OUR STORY:
Our story starts like every fisherman’s story. We love fishing and the challenges of the chase that keeps us coming back for more. Those late nights strategizing, the early morning excitement, the adrenaline kick of a screaming reel, the feeling of accomplishment and the heartache of defeat. From dawn till dusk we refine our skills in hopes of catching the ONE!
Being challenged by the extremely hot climate conditions in the Middle East, Bob Marlin Gear was founded in Dubai in 2017. Creating ultra-light weight fishing apparel, with ultimate UV-protection, in combination with unique designs. And we have proudly opened our USA based location in Maryland in 2023, for fast fulfillment from within the USA for our US-based customers.

We believe that the experiences created while fishing are just as important as the fishing itself, it’s about the gathering of friends and family, about having good vibes, and retelling old stories while creating new ones. Fishing provides time to think and a reason not to.

Quality is key! We strive to make our gear of extremely good quality. By doing that, and by adding the water & stain resistance features to our gear, our customers will be able to enjoy Bob Marlin Gear for much longer than the average apparel!

Our Materials:
Responsibly Sourced:
At Bob Marlin, we choose our partners with great care. We make sure all our partners have proper certification for sustainability and safe working conditions. This way we want to contribute to better working conditions and a healthier planet.
Made From Recycled Bottles:
We love recycling! Some of our Gear, like the NEW Hybrid Shorts, are made of 92% fully certified polyester made of recycled PET bottles, with 8% elastane. We reuse our boxes as much as possible, also for shipments to our resellers. We use recyclable material to pack our gear. And we are actively developing more product ranges made of recycled materials.
Nothing Wasted:
Samples & production items that do not pass our quality control are donated to people in need. We do not waste anything at Bob Marlin. Our Bottles & Tumblers are great alternatives for plastic cups, which can be used over and over again. On top of that, they look much better too.
