Noticing an issue in the modern-day coffee industry, we created a solution for outdoor enthusiasts. With our freshly roasted coffee, every trip to the mountain top feels like a trip to the coffee shop!

Who We Are
Hikers Brew was created in Eau Claire, WI on March 4th, 2016. Created by young entrepreneurs driven by sustainability for the outdoors. We want to make a difference in how product packaging could be viewed by the consumer.
Hikers Brew focuses on creating sustainable coffee that you can be proud to take on your next outdoor adventure. Our mission is to promote sustainability within the outdoor and food packaging industries. To support this mission, we offer a small multi-use and compostable package that keeps coffee fresh. This allows avid adventure seekers to take it with them anywhere they go.
Coffee is the tool we use to succeed in our mission for a sustainable future. Whether we are mid-hike in the mountains, walking the beach, or van life’ ing it up, a cup of coffee is in the process of being brewed. We know this is the same for many outdoor enthusiasts, so let’s share a tradition of brewing fresh coffee outdoors.

Compostable Packaging
We use compostable material to house our delicious coffee. The Kraft material and inside film is ASTM D6400 Certified. Which is a certification that tests the compostability of the material.
Compostable packaging is important to us because we want to offer a product producing little to no waste. Instead, you have the opportunity to return valuable nutrients back to the soil with our compostable packaging.
You can add our packaging to your at home compost pile, or compost it with your local trash collection service if they offer a compost pick-up option. Please remember to remove the clear valve on the back of our Venture Pouches, and the black tin-tye on our Basecamp Bags before composting.
