At OME Gear, we believe that the journey
should be just as exciting as the destination.

Our story begins in 1998, after Mom + Dad Weldon watched a single mom struggle carrying all the stuff to the beach for herself and three kiddos. It was in this moment that our family's passion was born.
We wanted to make getting around outside easy.
So we decided to take action. From conducting research, to building prototypes, to applying for patents, to partnering with friends - our trek to make this dream come true has come with its fair share of mountains and valleys, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
In 2018, we officially became OME Gear®, a brand ready to help you explore all the places our Earth has to offer with ease. Since then, we've redesigned and launched our solution to the original problem we set out to solve - The Wanderr®.
This 5-in-1 recreational hauler not only helps people bring everything they need outdoors, but allows them to enjoy the experience even more.
The Wanderr embodies the core of our design philosophy: reliable, quality, and versatile products that make the outdoors more enjoyable, accessible and fun.
