HARPY HATS MISSION:
Our goal at Harpy Hats is to create hat architecture combining innovative, patented designs, materials, and technology to construct the ultimate outdoor hat for the ultimate outdoor athlete.
FROM OUR FOUNDER:
Growing up in Texas, I struggled to find a hat that provided adequate UV protection for my face and ears while outdoors. Bucket hats offered more protection, but I couldn’t get used to their cumbersome designs and the strings flapping around. After a year of searching for alternatives without success, I decided to create my own design.
Over the next 18 months, I worked with a top hat maker in the U.S. to develop prototypes and eventually filed a patent. Through extensive testing with outdoor athletes, we created a hat that outperforms anything on the market.
